2019 NKB Winter invitational Grid Sign Up 

NKB January Lottery Calendars are now available at the Sportsplex office for pick up. Please fill out the bottom portion of your ballots with your contact information, tear it off, and return them to the office to be entered in the daily draw.  Cash prizes to be won every day in January, with a grand prize of $1,200 on the 31st!!  There are still extra calendars available for $10 each.  See Megan if you wish to buy more (your account will be charged).

Updating to Google Calendars Starting December 22nd, 2018 NKB will be switching from using TeamUnify’s built in Calendars to Google Calendars.  They may appear a little different in layout, but they will be imbedded right in our website and therefore there is NO CHANGE in where you can find our calendars and how NKB uses them to communicate schedules.

2019 NKB Winter Invitational January 18 to January 20, 2019:  In preparation for our NKB Winter Invitational the grid will be opening on December 13th at 7 pm. Initially, families will be restricted to two spots at the meet, to allow everyone an opportunity to volunteer. As the days progress the grid will open for further volunteer opportunities until the grid closes for sign up on December 19th.

Volunteer/Officials Grid Sign Up

• December 13th @ 7:00 PM, Grid will open for 2 positions per family 
• December 15th @ 7:00 PM, Grid will open for extra 2 positions per family 
• December 17th @ 7:00 PM, Grid will open for free unlimited registration 
• December 19th @ 11:00 AM, Grid will be closed 

NOTE: After choosing your position and clicking "sign-up" at the bottom of the page, a pop-up will open giving you the option to enter " Optional Contact Info:" Please enter the name of the official who will work the position in that space and click "sign up" again at the bottom of that pop up. Your name should now appear on the grid beside your chosen position(s). To confirm that you were successful, I suggest you click off the page and come back. Your name should still appear on the grid.

Week 11: November 13-19, 2018

Thank you and Congratulations! NKB had another impressive weekend in the pool! Thank you to all the chaperones and volunteers who coordinated such a successful weekend for our swimmers in Etobicoke, and CONGRATULATIONS to our swimmers on another great weekend if racing!

Where does your swimmer rank? There are so many ways a swimmer can be ranked – in Canada, All Time at the club, with records, and so many other ways. This past spring, we informally issued a challenge to our youngest Barracudas to rewrite the rankings in the 12 & Under Age Groups. Over the past few months, our swimmers have risen to the challenge, and this past weekend there was quite the excitement about raising that bar even higher! As you’ll see in our most recent news report, five new marks were set for our 12 & Under swimmers, with more than a handful who were hundredths off.
